Founded Nepean after managing corporate communications and campaigns for Sky. Advised on the communications for the complex and successful £30bn sale to Comcast, as well as capital market and regulatory engagement. Joined Sky after a 20-year advisory career in the UK, Europe and Australia, helping clients define and manage their reputations as well as working with some of the largest companies in the world on transactions, crises and supporting operational change.

By combining his in-house and advisory experience, Gavin has created a firm built for the modern world and which understands the internal and external challenges facing senior management and communications teams.

Formerly Special Advisor to successive Directors-General of the Institute of Directors, covering policy, business relations and crisis management. Led the IoD’s Executive team, helped to run day-to-day operations and campaigns, while liaising closely with politicians, the media and CEOs.

Experience working for politicians in the House of Commons and in the US Senate and in publishing roles for news agencies and start-ups. A wide knowledge of current and business affairs enables him to give effective and empathetic advice. Masters in Journalism and Bachelor’s in Politics.

With a Master’s degree (distinction – Dean’s List) in Security Studies from University College London and a Bachelor's in Politics from Durham University, Harry brings political and international relations expertise to Nepean. Alongside his studies he worked at Scott Prenn, a boutique philanthropic advisory firm, helping increase outreach and raise awareness of international security programs in the UK.

Has experience in the development and composition of research reports, corporate intelligence and dispute consulting from his time at C|T Group. Able to think critically and analytically to provide thoughtful and intelligent advice.

Ambika holds a Master’s degree in International Relations of South Asia from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s in Politics and International Relations from the University of Birmingham. As a former policy analyst intern at the House of Commons, and a political researcher at a regional news blog, Ambika’s extensive political background has enabled her to efficiently perform complex research and critical data analysis.

Alongside her studies, she has also headed up a number of global projects for humanitarian and developmental aid charities UNICEF and Jeena International, engaging with major stakeholders, running campaigns and devising strategies for effective problem-solving.

Previously CEO PepsiCo UK & Ireland, where he was responsible for the Walkers Snackfoods business and most recently CEO of the Football Association. Prior to that he was CEO of private equity backed businesses United Biscuits and Birds Eye iglo.

Currently Chairman of the Chapel Down Group, Chairman of the Football Foundation – the UK’s biggest sporting charity – and non-executive director of ice cream manufacturer Froneri.

A consultant specialising in sustainability and ESG, advising clients across various sectors. Lucy has an extensive record of creating and communicating best-in-class sustainability and social purpose strategies, which help drive company and brand reputation.

As the former Chief Sustainability Officer of Sky, Lucy crafted and delivered Sky’s now world class sustainability strategy and programs and is well placed to help other businesses develop their strategy and plans and move with confidence in this space.

A consultant specialising in Sustainability and ESG. Vanessa advises clients across multiple sectors including asset management and private equity.  Alongside her client work, Vanessa is undertaking a Postgraduate Masters Level Diploma at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership (CISL); having completed the Postgraduate Masters Level Certificate in April 2021.

Vanessa has been a senior corporate communications professional for over 20 years.  Prior to her studies at CISL, Vanessa was a Partner at Kekst CNC and between 2009 to 2018, she was Head of Communications for the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division, and Impact Advisory and Finance business at Credit Suisse.
