Founded Nepean after managing corporate communications and campaigns for Sky. Advised on the communications for the complex and successful £30bn sale to Comcast, as well as capital market and regulatory engagement. Joined Sky after a 20-year advisory career in the UK, Europe and Australia, helping clients define and manage their reputations as well as working with some of the largest companies in the world on transactions, crises and supporting operational change.
By combining his in-house and advisory experience, Gavin has created a firm that understands the internal and external challenges facing senior management and communications teams.
Previously CEO PepsiCo UK & Ireland, where he was responsible for the Walkers Snackfoods business and most recently CEO of the Football Association. Prior to that he was CEO of private equity backed businesses United Biscuits and Birds Eye iglo.
Currently Chairman of the Chapel Down Group, Chairman of the Football Association – the UK’s biggest sporting charity – and non-executive director of ice cream manufacturer Froneri.
Formerly Special Advisor to successive Directors-General of the Institute of Directors, covering policy, business relations and crisis management. Led the IoD’s Executive team, helped to run day-to-day operations and campaigns, while liaising closely with politicians, the media and CEOs.
Experience working for politicians in the House of Commons and in the US Senate, and in publishing roles for news agencies and start-ups. A wide knowledge of current and business affairs enables him to give effective and empathetic advice. Masters in Journalism and Bachelor’s in Politics.
With a Master’s degree (distinction – Dean’s List) in Security Studies from University College London and a Bachelors in Politics from Durham University, Harry brings political and international relations expertise to Nepean. Alongside his studies he worked at Scott Prenn, a boutique philanthropic advisory firm, helping increase outreach and raise awareness of international security programs in the UK.
Has experience in the development and composition of research reports, corporate intelligence and dispute consulting from his time at C|T Group. Able to think critically and analytically to provide thoughtful and intelligent advice.
Eight years of in-house communications experience at a FTSE100 firm, including an active role in the company’s corporate charity partnership. More recently she has worked in a multitude of personal assistant roles, alongside senior partners in the financial and corporate communications sectors.
